Friend, have you ever paused to realize that your life may be the only “Gospel” some people will ever see? It is an awesome thought.

The more I walk with Jesus the more I see the Gospel isn’t just a message to be preached—it’s the Way we live.

As we embrace the grace of our Lord Jesus in everyday moments, it powerfully shapes our actions and reflects our hope in Him. The Gospel’s transformative power is a beacon of hope for those in our sphere of influence.

🕊️ Living the Gospel Daily 🕊️

1️⃣ Grounded in Grace
The Gospel, from start to finish, is rooted in His grace. It’s not about striving but receiving a free gift through faith.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” Ephesians 2:8.

Grace is the fertile soil from which the fruit of the Spirit blooms—like Aarons’s rod. We are God’s canvas displaying the resurrection life.

“Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭4.

Today, lean into His grace, where the Gospel life thrives.

2️⃣ It Is Finished
Jesus has paid it all. The cross has silenced every accusation, wiped out every debt, and secured our righteousness. Walk in the freedom of His finished work—our firm foundation.

“It is finished.” John 19:30

3️⃣ Christ at the Center
In a world filled with noise and distractions, transformation comes from fixing our gaze on Jesus. He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Let’s continue to bow our hearts towards Him. A life centered on Christ is a life shaped by the finished work.

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus…” Hebrews 12:2.

Are we living as those born of the Spirit, or are we still reaching for what is comfortable—inferior?

We were never created to live by our own strength, striving, or self-effort. From the very beginning, God intended us to live by His Spirit. The finished work of Jesus didn’t just rescue us—it redefined our entire way of being. It transformed how we live, move, breathe, and respond in this world.

Now born of the Spirit, we’ve been invited into resurrection life—one rooted in God’s rest, not human performance. We don’t labor to produce fruit; it flows naturally as we abide in the Vine. One of the most powerful things we can do is fully embrace our identity in Christ and pursue deeper intimacy with Him. As we do, we begin to walk in the reality that we are heirs, ambassadors, and carriers of His authority.

We were never meant to return to the familiar patterns of the flesh when the Spirit of God now dwells in us. Jesus didn’t lay down His life so we could live mediocre, earth-bound lives. He rose again so we could live as He is—in this world.

The call is to awaken, perceive, and walk in step with the Spirit.

Remember:
💫We are born of the Spirit, not the flesh—our Source of life and light has changed.
💫The finished work of Jesus enables us to live supernatural, not inferior lives.
💫Spiritual fruit is not performance—it’s the evidence of identity in Christ.
💫The flesh is familiar, but the Spirit leads us into freedom, not striving.
💫Our humanity is the canvas for God’s glory, not a hindrance.
💫We fight from victory, not for victory.
💫To live by the Spirit is to abide, surrender, and walk in truth—that is true worship.

We shout, “I have the victory in Jesus!” but then find ourselves battling the same anxiety, discouragement, or frustration. If victory is ours, why does it sometimes feel so far away?

🔥 Walking in Victory 101: 🔥

✅ Healing happens in layers. It’s not a one-and-done deal—God peels back the layers over time, bringing deeper freedom.

✅ Proclaiming victory ≠ walking in it. Many of us say we have victory but don’t actually believe or live it. David in Psalm 63 didn’t just declare victory—he showed us how to walk in it.

✅ Silence the lies. Psalm 63:11 says, “The mouths of liars will be silenced.” That includes the enemy’s lies about your identity, purpose, and worth. The biggest battle is often in our minds.

✅ Victory is more than a title—it’s a lifestyle.
Just because we have authority in Christ doesn’t mean it is automatic. We must relish Hin, and step into His victory through faith and obedience.

✅ The Church needs to reclaim true victory. It’s not just about a breakthrough moment—it’s about endurance, faithfulness, and intimacy with Christ.

Beloved, what if the victory you’re praying for requires surrendering the very things you cling to?

Jesus makes it clear in Luke 14:28-33—following Him requires counting the cost. And let’s be real: the price is high because it will cost you who you’ve been and who you are. But the cost of not following Him? That’s far greater.

🏆Victory comes at a cost. When Jesus calls us to follow Him, He isn’t asking for a casual commitment—He’s calling for complete surrender. Salvation is free, but true discipleship will cost you everything.

🏆Comfort and complacency must go. You can’t step into victory while clinging to the safety of what’s familiar. Growth demands movement. Transformation requires surrender. Letting go of the life you once knew is part of the process.

🏆It may cost relationships. Not everyone will understand your pursuit of Christ. Some friendships, connections, and habits were never meant to go where God is leading you. Are you willing to let go for the sake of your faith?

🏆Your way or His way? True victory in Christ means laying down your way of doing things and fully embracing His. It means surrendering control and saying, “Lord, my life is no longer mine. Have Your way.”

Many hesitate when they see the price tag. The fear of loneliness, rejection, or sacrifice makes people hold back. But Jesus reminds us that what we gain in Him far outweighs anything we lose. The temporary life we fight to keep is nothing compared to the eternal glory found in Christ.

So, have you counted the cost? Because the reward of following Jesus is far greater than anything you leave behind.

What’s the first thought that comes to mind when you hear the word abortion?

Most often, we think of it in terms of children. But have you ever considered how abortion can also apply to dreams, callings, and God-given purposes—things that were cut off before they ever had the chance to grow?

The enemy seeks to stop anything that carries life before it reaches full maturity. Maybe you’ve experienced the pain of a physical abortion, or perhaps you’ve suffered the death of a dream out of fear, shame, or doubt. Either way, God’s grace is greater and His love covers it all.

In the latest episode 🎙️ of Seed For The Soul, Latoya Mathews shares her story of abortion, shame, and redemption. For ten years, she asked daily, for God to forgive her—only to realize He had been forgiven the very first time she prayed.

Inside the Episode:

🌷You don’t have to carry shame anymore. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

🌷Your past does not disqualify you from your destiny. “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.” (Jeremiah 1:5)

🌷The enemy tries to steal our purpose, but Jesus came to bring life. “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)

🌷Even when we feel like we’ve made the wrong choice, God redeems. “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us.” (Galatians 3:13)

If you have ever felt the weight of regret, the pain of what could have been, or the sting of lost dreams, let this be your reminder: God is a Restorer of all things. The very thing the enemy tried to abort in your life can be the testimony that brings life to others.

💜 God’s forgiveness is final. His grace is enough. You are still called, chosen, and deeply loved.

She tasted the Lord’s sweetness,
And her eyes beheld His glory.
With childlike faith, she trusted Him,
And the impossible became her reality.
She realized that salvation was her admission into His Kingdom—an inheritance so vast that it would take eternity to unveil.

Sometimes, we treat the Kingdom of God as if it were far off, something we will experience one day. But Jesus tells us differently:

📖 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” — John 3:3. The implications are that once we are born again we can experience the Kingdom now! But do we?

The Greek word for see is εἶδον (eidon)—which means to perceive, understand, experience, and discern. This isn’t just about looking at something—it’s about stepping into it.

Salvation isn’t about escaping hell; it’s about a relationship with the Living God and entering a Kingdom where heaven’s reality becomes our own, 𝓃ℴ𝓌. Oh friends, my mind has been renewed to see we are not exiles waiting for a home—we are ambassadors of heaven (2 Cor. 5:20) with dual citizenship. We carry the Kingdom within us (Luke 17:21), bringing heaven to earth through our faith, prayers, and obedience.

So why do we live as if the Kingdom is out of reach? When...

👉🏾 Jesus Christ is our inheritance
👉🏾 Heaven lacks nothing.
👉🏾 The impossible becomes possible when we believe Him.

Jesus said: “Whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do.” (John 14:12). We cannot expect the do the greater works if we cannot do the same works.

We won’t shift atmospheres, pray bold prayers, or walk in power if we don’t see what heaven sees. We must reclaim childlike faith—where trust is simple, imagination is limitless, and God’s presence is enough.

Friend, whose voice holds the most weight in your life—God’s or the enemy’s?

I’ve wrestled with this recently, almost stepping away from writing and podcasting because the weight of doubt tried to silence me. But God! He met me in my weariness, reaffirmed His truth, and reminded me that my identity is secure in Him—not in the approval of others.

Beloved, the enemy is after the word because he knows its power and importance. His mode of attack is geared towards our identity. He is the king of identity politics, so don’t engage! Instead give him the Word, which is the sword of the Spirit, and he will get the point🗡️.

Fear may whisper lies, but God’s Word speaks louder. His truth prevails. If you’ve been battling doubt, take this moment wrap your heart around these three breath prayers grounded in Scripture:

Breathe out: 𝒞𝒽ℴ𝓈ℯ𝓃 𝒷𝓎 𝒢ℴ𝒹!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9.

I’ve been walking through some things and supping on the Word, and I was reminded: The battle is not mine but the Lord’s.

I don’t know who else needs to hear this today, but the battle you feel coming for you—that mountain you are facing, the diagnosis that was given, the wayward child refusing to accept correction, the marriage where trust was broken, the friendship that has become entangled, the addiction, fear, failure, whatever it is—
It Is Not Yours, But God’s!

In His presence, she found peace,
And in His victory, her striving ceased.
The battle was never hers to claim,
But the Lord’s—
That His power and glory would forever be proclaimed!

Beloved, cease striving. Be still. Be enamored by His presence. The armor of God is not something we put on—it is something we are already in because of our position in Christ.

If you’re weary, take heart:
➡️ God is already fighting for you.
➡️ His grace is greater than your mistakes.
➡️ Your role? Stand firm, trust, and watch His victory unfold.

And let’s not exchange stirring about the issue for striving about the outcome. Let’s surrender, rest in Him, and let God be God. 🙌🏾

What if your breakthrough isn’t about getting more faith—but trusting the One who is always faithful?

So many of us ask God to increase our faith, but Jesus already told us that mustard-seed faith moves mountains (Matthew 17:20). So the question isn’t, “Do I need more faith?” but rather, “Where is unbelief hiding in my heart?”

Lately, I find myself navigating a whirlwind of emotions—a familiar pattern whenever the Lord shifts me into a season of transition and the unknown. It feels as though my world is swirling, my footing unsteady like sand beneath me, yet there remains a steadfast Rock holding me firm when I’m too weak to stand. When we like Mary, take our place at the feet of Jesus, and we will see that He is breathtaking. Mary sat and listened. Mary’s obedience is a stunning example of our posture and that we receive the best thing when we choose the One thing (Luke 10v38-42).

Here is further revelation: this same Mary would perform one of the most radical acts, which we continue to talk about today. She poured out an expensive bottle of Nard and washed our Lord’s feet with her hair before He went to the Cross.

“It was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was ill.” John‬ ‭11‬:‭2‬ ‭

What is so astonishing is on the third day of His burial women were coming to the tomb to do the very act of anointing Him, but they couldn’t for He had risen.

Hey Friends,

I thought this would be a quick quote and then off to the races🏇, but God had something different in mind. Hold tight to the end; I promise it will be worth it, as I greatly desire to impart some spiritual encouragement to bless you. Okay, let’s roll up our sleeves and dig in.

Believing God, at its core, is one of the rawest, most powerful, sacrificial, and exuberant acts of obedience.

𝒢ℯ𝓉 this, in doing so… it pleases Him. 𝒜𝓃𝒹 𝒸ℴ𝓃𝓈ℯ𝓆𝓊ℯ𝓃𝓉𝓁𝓎 𝒹ℯ𝒶𝓁𝓈 𝒶 𝒹ℯ𝒶𝓉𝒽 𝒷𝓁ℴ𝓌 𝓉ℴ 𝓉𝒽ℯ ℯ𝓃ℯ𝓂𝓎.

And the immediate byproduct is the blessing of rest because of His faithfulness!

When we choose to believe God, it is also an act of 𝓌ℴ𝓇𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓅 and releases a measure of 𝑔𝓁ℴ𝓇𝓎 that celebrates Him and produces joy within us. We glorify God and are blessed as we do what we are created to do.

When we live in light of this revelation, the 𝑔𝓇𝒶𝒸ℯ 𝓌ℯ 𝓇ℯ𝒸ℯ𝒾𝓋ℯ 𝒾𝓈 𝓃ℴ𝓉 𝒾𝓃 𝓋𝒶𝒾𝓃, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒻𝒶𝒾𝓉𝒽 in Him becomes our way of life.

One more thing: as we continue to believe in Jesus, we often find our trust is followed by what some may call a test🤷🏾‍♀️. The enemy sometimes strikes to make us shrink back and remain in unbelief. It can present in many different forms; be vigilant by remaining in the word.

It can be something so small as 𝓃ℴ𝓉 blurting out the vision God told you to keep sacred for a season, or larger such as getting out of bed though you still physically feel the pain, stepping outside to feel the sun on your face when depression looms in the recesses of your mind, tithing or giving an additional offering when the balance in the account is bread crumbs, giving graceful word to the person you see as the author of your affliction; whatever it is, respond in faith. God sees it and is faithful to give more grace in each moment. He is inexhaustible.

This single act of obedience on your part isn’t for Him–ℐ𝓉’𝓈 𝒻ℴ𝓇 𝓎ℴ𝓊! God already knows the outcome. He is showing you what He has already deposited in you through the finished work of Jesus. It was there all along, you are just walking it out. ℐ𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒻𝒾𝓃𝒾𝓈𝒽ℯ𝒹!

I pray that throughout this week you’ve remained refreshed and secure in goodness of God towards you! Because you are so loved✞

I am so full, writing this to you, because you are loved, deeply loved by Jesus.

As I spend time with the Lord, I am overwhelmed by His kindness and His ways. I’m practicing living acutely aware of His presence and discovering His willingness to impart wisdom, dispense grace, and lavish love in each moment.

I encourage you to live enlight of His countenance, because He is facing you and watching over you. Indeed, He has His banner of love stationed over you because you are so precious to Him.

Therefore, respond accordingly by trusting Him. This is easily done by bringing everything to Him. Sitting with Him. Saturating yourself in Him.

Allowing Him to be God, because He is.

He will lift whatever has made your life heavy and exchange it with His perfect rest.

And just like that😮‍💨 a New Year. ℛℯ𝒶𝒹𝓎, 𝒮ℯ𝓉, ℛℯ𝓈𝓉, in the deeper things of God. The Lord continues to reveal (His) 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉ℯℴ𝓊𝓈𝓃ℯ𝓈𝓈, our word from 2024 as foundational for 2025. Surprisingly, we received the confirmation of two additional words for the year, the first being: 𝒢𝓇𝒶𝒸ℯ and the second: 𝒫𝓇ℴ𝓂𝒾𝓈ℯ. We are ecstatic and feel pregnant with anticipation, knowing these words aren’t only for us but for everyone connected to us.

My husband and I prayed for the Lord to help us set the rhythm for the season and He gave us 𝑔𝓇𝒶𝒸ℯ 𝑔ℴ𝒶𝓁𝓈. These aren’t just ambitions—they’re invitations to step into deeper intimacy with God. They come at a cost: surrendering ourselves, abandoning earthly expectations, and embracing the eternal.

Here’s what we feel led to focus on:

1st 🏹 Live Loved by God. Let the unshakable truth of His love shape every thought, decision, and action.

2nd 🏹 Live in wonder and awe of Him. Stay filled to the brim with His presence, marveling at His beauty and glory.

3rd 🏹 Flow with the Spirit. Let gratitude pave the way, guiding our steps and filling our hearts.

4th 🏹 Embrace radical grace and hope. Expect to experience the fullness of God’s promises by faith.

5th 🏹 Relish the sacred of simplicity. Find joy in the beauty of a slowed-down, Christ-centered life.

6th 🏹 Cherish the present. Fully embrace each moment and treasure the people and blessings God has placed in our lives.

7th 🏹 Rejoice in the hope of His glory. Live intentionally and purposefully, grounded in the finished work of Christ and the wholeness we have in Him.

It is a privilege to live this abundant life, trusting that the Lord is orchestrating every step. Nothing is by chance—each moment is holy and sacred when surrendered to Him.

If I had to sum up our goals in one sentence, it would be to gaze upon the One who is invisible, experience and reflect His beauty, and dwell continually in His presence. ℛℯ𝒶𝒹𝓎, 𝒮ℯ𝓉, ℛℯ𝓈𝓉.

Hi Friends👋🏾, can you believe it, 2024 is a wrap!

Where did you see God in the past year? How did He reveal His character to you? What prayer did He answer maybe in an unexpected way? Where did you grow and in what ways did God stretch your faith? I would love to know.

I’ve had some time to pray, ponder, reflect, and write over the past month, and still need more time to sup in His presence and soak in the word, however, did want to give you something to consider as the dawn of a new year is on the horizon.

If you’ve been on TOT1 any length of time you probably know that this time of year is pretty exciting in our home as the Lord prepares the New Year with a New Word and Scripture for us to embrace. God is full of splendor and He is doing a new thing providing a theme and we are over the moon about it.

I will share our word and Scripture at a later date but definitely wanted to unveil the theme today: The Year of the Lord’s Favor.

I believe it will be a word that resonates for many who read my posts. God is at work and it is auspicious, and grand, and I am here for it!

Today in preparation for what He has for us, I want to share a thoughtful list of things to leave behind in 2024 to make space for growth, peace, and purpose in the coming year. May the Lord tend the garden of our hearts so we remain flourishing and fragrant with the aroma of Christ throughout 2025.

In 2010, my husband suffered a back injury that was further complicated by surgery. The procedure left him with a multi-level titanium cage to stabilize his back and a pin in his pelvis. Since the beginning of this journey, nearly every day has been marked by residual pain—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

This year brought its own challenge when I encountered shingles. The only pain I’ve ever experienced that rivaled this was during emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction that resulted in a colectomy. And, if you know anything about Shingles, it doesn’t like to leave quietly; it attempts to leave lying symptoms of post-neuropathic pain in its wake. I am so grateful for the Truth: 𝒩ℴ 𝓌ℴ𝓇𝒹 ℴ𝒻 𝓉𝒽ℯ ℒℴ𝓇𝒹 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝒻𝒶𝒾𝓁 𝒶𝓃𝒹 ℯ𝓋ℯ𝓇𝓎 𝓅𝓇ℴ𝓂𝒾𝓈ℯ ℴ𝒻 𝒢ℴ𝒹 𝒾𝓈 𝓁𝒶𝒹ℯ𝓃 𝓌𝒾𝓉𝒽 𝓅ℴ𝓌ℯ𝓇.
